My favorite subject is history. First, learning history is just like reading a story book that contains many interesting things. By learning history, I always feel relaxed and also learn knowledge through the historical story，such as the value of advanced knowledge and the importance of international peace. Second, I admire my history teacher. She is such a knowledgeable person that she can teach us without reference to the textbooks. She also can tell some historical stories outside the textbooks. Her class is so interesting that we will never feel tired in her class.

Task 2 Which TV program you prefer to watch on TV: entertainment TV program or educational TV program.

I’d prefer to watch entertainment TV program on TV. Watching TV is a recreation activity, and the most important function of TV is to amuse people. We will feel relaxed and can cut down our pressure by watching entertainment TV program, such as talk show and comedy. We can learn knowledge by reading books or magazines; there is no need to learn knowledge by watching educational TV program. After we study or work for a whole day, what we really need is a relaxing entertainment TV program.
