Hi, there. Welcome to Ace Radio(爱思广播). I'm your new friend Monkey. Despite the cloudy weather, Monkey today feels really wonderful to have you my listeners as company. May my voice remind you of sweet memories and bright hope of future.
Childhood is the most beautiful cadenza of life.
How many fairy tales exist in this world? They keep silence in a strange country secretly brewing. When we are dreaming, one is hidden under the bed. One day it will become one page of the old story books. Saint-Exupery said all the adults were once children, though only a few remember.
In the age of the noninterference of nightmares whatever our sleeping postures were, children and Peter who were carefree living, didn't need to worry about the early cock would sing for reality in the top of the dream.
So today, Monkey would like to share with you my dear listeners a lovely fairy tale about growth and a boy who wouldn't grow up named Peter Pan.
When growing up has become an overwhelming tide to us, when those perceptions of confusion, loneliness and not to be understood have become more and more serious, the story of treason, hopes and dreams is so attractive and fit the mood.
Every child grows up, with no exceptions. Would peter pan be lonely? Oh, no, his fairy would accompany him! If you ask me which role is my favorite, I will say without hesitation it will be the fairy Tinker Bell. She was the only one who loved Peter Pan throughout her life, and never left him, while Wendy chose to leave Neverland to face growth in the real world. Although Tinker Bell was one hundred percent a little thing who always envied and afflicted Wendy, but only because she was so fond of Peter, so care, so mind. Those who are able to maintain 100% of the reason, it is not love.
Neverland will always appear in children's dreams. Of all delectable islands the Neverland is the snuggest and most compact, not large and sprawly, you know, with tedious distances between one adventure and another, but nicely crammed.
The Neverland is always more or less an island, with astonishing splashes of color here and there, and coral reefs and rakish-looking craft in the offing, and savages and lonely lairs, and gnomes who are mostly tailors, and caves through which a river runs, and princes with six elder brothers, and a hut fast going to decay, and one very small old lady with a hooked nose. It will be an easy map if that were all. But these are part of the island and it is all rather confusing, especially as nothing will stand still.
And where is the Neverland?
According to our Peter Pan, the address is Second to the right and straight on till morning. And it's a far way to go. Peter Pan with his new friends has to fly there. What an amazing thing to fly! Have you tried to fly before? As Wendy said, it is only the gay and innocent and heartless who can fly. I do wish I were gay and innocent and heartless. But as time goes by, people lose their ability and leisurely mood to imagine strange things. Kids are always coming up with fantastic ideas, as well as a few grownups. That's why when the fairy Tinker Bell was dying after draining the poisoned medicine to save Peter Pan from drinking, when Peter Pan cried to all who might be dreaming of the Neverland, most who sang "I believe in fairies, I do I do" were children. As the tale says, fairies could get well again if children believed in them. This reminds me of another fairy tale "Alice's Adventure in Wonderland". If you believe in impossible things, the will become true.
Do you know anything about the beginning of fairies? Peter Pan told us that when the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies. I appreciate this parlance, so romantic, so childish, and so lovely. Sometimes, we really need to read several fairy tales, because I believe they will help purify our mind and make us simple.
Actually, our Peter Pan is easy to forget, even the girl he loves, even the fairy who never leaves him and once saved his life with hers, which made me heartrending. Maybe it's not his fault.
Perhaps one day, Peter Pan would jump into your dream and take you to Neverland. Perhaps one day when you grow old, you would share the fairy tale of Peter Pan, like Wendy, to your children and grandchildren. But this naughty child king will always stay young, perhaps, he would be hiding near the window, listening to you telling his story.
Ok, dear friends, that's all for our today's program. Monkey feel distinguished honor to be the English broadcast on Ace radio. Ok, guys. See you next time, my dear friends. Hope you have a great life time.
