Beautiful snow, so pure and white,
Dancing through the air you go;
Falling so gently, softly and light
From the clouds above to the earth below.

The crowning beauty of winter cold;
Falling both by day and by night,
Falling on mountain-top and wold.

Falling gently on vale and dell;
Covering the cottage of the poor,

Hiding the fallen leaves out of sight,
