China's economy has stepped into a "new normal" phase and will tend towards L-shaped growth in the future, a high-level central government official said.

近日，中央政府高层官员表示，中国经济发展进入新常态，未来将呈“L型走势”。

在“十三五”规划与中国经济发展新常态专题报告会上，中央财经领导小组办公室副主任韩俊表示，预计2015年中国经济增长6.9%，在全球经济增长疲软的背景下（in terms of global slow growth），该数据仍然很亮眼（being quite remarkable）。

他表示，随着中国经济总量增大，经济增速下降是符合经济发展规律的，未来中国经济增长方式（growth model）必然将经历转型，将由出口拉动为主（export-driven）转为内需（domestic demand）拉动为主；将由投资拉动（investment-driven）为主转为消费拉动为主；将由粗犷型发展向创新型发展（development in an innovative way）转变。
