生态环境部表示，国家绿色发展基金2020年将正式启动运营。设立国家绿色发展基金，是健全生态环境保护经济政策体系的一项内容。

China will officially launch its national green development fund in 2020, amid efforts to improve the economic policy system for ecological and environmental protection, according to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE).

绿色是大自然的底色。我一直讲，绿水青山就是金山银山，改善生态环境就是发展生产力。良好生态本身蕴含着无穷的经济价值，能够源源不断创造综合效益，实现经济社会可持续发展。

Green is the color of nature. I have always said that green mountains and lucid waters are indeed mountains of gold and silver, and that environmental improvement means greater productivity. A sound environment promises great economic potential, generates good returns, and contributes to economic and social sustainability.
