刷牙是我们每天必做的事情，大家都知道刷牙是brush teeth，那漱口用英语怎么说呢？

漱口有一个专用的动词——rinse /rɪns/。rinse的本意是（用清水）冲洗、洗刷，是用流动的水不用肥皂洗衣服、洗碗、洗手等等；也可以表示洗去皂液、脏东西。

当表示漱口，用法是rinse one's mouth；把脏东西从嘴里漱出去是rinse out sb's mouth。

Let me just rinse my hands.

让我就冲洗一下手。

She rinses out her mouth every morning to prevent bad breath. 

她为除口臭每天早上都漱口。

（PS：rinse还有个特别的意思，表示染发，相当于dye哦！）

①牙刷

普通的牙刷是toothbrush /ˈtuːθ.brʌʃ/，而电动牙刷是electric toothbrush。

考虑下买一把电牙刷，它可以计时。

②牙膏

牙膏是用toothpaste /ˈtuːθ.peɪst/ 表示，这是不可数名词。一般是说一管/支牙膏，a tube of toothpaste。

牙膏广告里经常会出现美白牙齿、清新口气、防止蛀牙这些牙膏的功效，这些表达是这么说的：

teeth whitening 牙齿美白

fresh breath 清新口气

avoid cavities and tooth decay. 防止蛀牙

The American Dental Association recommends brushing your teeth and tongue with a fluoride toothpaste at least twice a day.

美国牙科协会建议人们每天用含氟牙膏清洗牙齿和舌头至少两次。

④牙线

牙线是有两种，一种是牙线棒，英文是floss pick，而另一种牙线是用dental floss /ˈden.təl ˌflɒs/ 表示，就是很细的线。

这里的floss就是牙线，也可以做动词表示用牙线剔牙
