1. 单枪匹马 play a lone hand

我们常说“人手”，只有一只手来做事，当然就是“单枪匹马”了，例如：

2. 寡不敌众 be outnumbered

落单了，还被围攻，通常的结果都是寡不敌“众”，be outnumbered就是“对方人数多过我方”的意思，例如：
