“春茧”是深圳湾体育中心的别称，该体育中心通过白色的巨型网架结构将体育、商业等建筑空间进行整合，外形酷似“春茧”，故得此名。春茧是第26届世界大学生运动会的主场馆。春茧呈椭圆形，它在体育场东侧完整的椭圆形上大胆地“切”出了一个通透 的“落地窗”，被称为“海之门”，坐在体育场里就可以看到大海及对面的香港。
