慧慧：在今天的Review里，我们就一起说说雅典奥运会
Nathan：The Olympic Games in Athens
慧慧：对，虽说今年的奥运会要到8月份才举行，但相关的各项活动却已经轰轰烈烈的开展起来了
Nathan：是啊，要说最热闹的就属：The Olympic torch relay
慧慧：对，也就是奥运会的火炬接力

Torch relay 火炬接力一直是奥运会的一个传统，每届奥运会的圣火点燃仪式都是在奥林匹克运动的发源地the cradle of Olympism—Olympia 古奥林匹亚举行的。雅典第28届奥运会的圣火在今年的3月25日点燃，这次的圣火传递将首次实现真正意义上的全球接力。
The IOC president Jacques Rogge 国际奥委会主席罗格在点燃仪式上说：
”Whether we live in a rich or disadvantaged country, the flame will unite us all,''
无论我们身处富强之邦还是贫弱之国，奥运圣火都将把我们凝聚在一起！

慧慧：The Flame奥运圣火把我们凝聚在了一起。Nathan, 这圣火的传递就要靠火炬手，叫做torchbearer…
Nathan：Right，but也不完全是……
慧慧：嗯？怎么说？
Nathan：In fact, the Olympic flame will be transported by plane, bus, train, motorbike, bicycle, in a wheelchair and on foot, all kinds of ways.
慧慧：看来是把所有的交通工具都用上了，不管用什么方式吧，6月8日，你可要记住了呦，6月8日奥运圣火就会传递到北京了
Nathan：是啊，还真期待呢
慧慧：谁说不是啊，不过还有一件更高兴的事呢。。。

国际奥委会全球合作伙伴，也就是TOP--The Olympic Partner (TOP) Program。这个TOP正如其名，可是了得，可以享受在全球范围内使用奥林匹克知识产权的一整套权益。这次我们的联想Lenovo成为IOC第六期TOP计划的一员，同时也成为了进入TOP计划的第一家中国企业。
国际奥委会主席罗格这样评价到：
"The relationship will play an important role in the promotion of the Olympic Movement and sport throughout China, Asia and across the globe. "
“与联想的合作必将推动奥林匹克运动在中国、亚洲乃至全世界的深入发展”。

慧慧：Nathan，要说这TOP计划最厉害的一招就是exclusivity 排他性了
Nathan：Yeah, TOP companies receive exclusive marketing rights and opportunities within their designated product category.
慧慧：所以呀，在未来的5年内，您就会看到，所有国家的奥委会，奥运代表团用的电子产品都会是联想的，什么电脑啊，笔记本啊，服务器啊，打印机啊，全都是
Nathan：That’s right, and to some extent, Lenovo received a special Olympic gold medal.
慧慧：是啊，成为TOP的一员，也算是得了一块拥有特殊意义的“奥运金牌”了。说到金牌，这可是每位运动员都想获得的，可下面的这位可能就与金牌无缘了
Nathan：此话怎讲？

2000年悉尼奥运会400米自由泳的金牌获得者是被我们称之为flying fish飞鱼的索普，但索普大概是没有机会在雅典奥运会上卫冕这个项目的冠军了，因为他在预选赛中抢跳犯规了……

Nathan：Right, but it seems that Thorpe may compete in 400 at Athens if his teammate steps aside.
