A: So how do you keep your English up to speed?

B: Well, I practise a little everyday.

B: 喔，我每天都练一点。

A: How? In what ways?

A: 怎么练？用什么样的方式练？

B: Lots of different ways. I listen to my favourite music CDs in English. I usually look at an English-language newspaper most days. I try and speak a little everyday.

B: 很多不同的方式。我听自己最喜欢的英语版的音乐CD。大多数的日子我通常要看英语报纸。我每天还努力说一点英语。

A: That sounds good. I guess it’s important to keep it alive, to use it as much as you can.

A: 听起来不错。我想持续不断地学习，尽可能地去使用英语很重要。

1、Be careful with the spelling! The verb is practise / practise and the noun is practice / practice, e.g.: I practise English everyday / I practise English everyday . . . but everyday I do a little practice / Everyday I do a little practice. The pronunciation is exactly the same.

要注意动词practise /练习和名词practice /练习在拼写上的差别！例如：I practise English everyday / 我每天都练习英语，但是. . . Everyday I do a little practice /我每天都练习一点。但是它们的发音是完全一样的。

2、You use the present tense for various things in English. One usage is to describe regular, daily habits or actions and you often use words such as usually / usually; everyday / everyday; normally / normally, e.g.: I usually look at the newspaper most days / I usually look at the newspaper most days; I normally take the bus to my work / I normally take the bus to my work.

在英语中，现在时态有多种不同的用法。用法之一是描述定期的、日常的习惯、活动，在现在时态中经常使用像usually /通常；everyday / 每天 ；normally / 正常情况下这样的词, 例如: I usually look at the newspaper most days /大多数的日子我通常要看英语报纸； I normally take the bus to my work /我通常乘公共汽车去上班
