趁着安期生没有注意，东海黄公悄悄偷走了安期生的宝刀，他认为安期生能能使老虎听话，完全是因为有这把刀。

得到宝刀的东海黄公不再把老虎放在眼里，当他走路遇见老虎时，马上就拔出刀来比划，指望老虎听自己指挥，不料却被老虎扑上来一口咬死。
