文中的keyword infiltration就是指“关键词过滤”，通常在检索到keyword后对其进行阻断连接、取消或延后显示、替换、人工干预等处理。此次短信功能被停的用户多是由于发送illicit or junk text messages（非法、垃圾短信，“垃圾短信”也称为spam message）。但在90天的投诉期内无一人file a complaint（提起申诉，申请复通），可见这次打击行动还是卓有成效的。

Infiltration除了指“过滤”外，还常用来指“渗透”，既可以指物质间的“渗透”，也可以指不同组织间的“渗透活动，秘密潜入”，例如The police tried to prevent infiltration by drug traffickers. （警方尽力阻止毒品走私分子的潜入。）此外，“思想渗透”也可以用这个词的动词形式infiltrate来表示，例如：The teacher tried to infiltrate her ideas into the children's minds.（老师设法把她的思想渗透到孩子们的心中。）
