Wuhan to have 1st direct int'l air route -- Air China will launch a non-stop flight route linking central China's industrial hub of Wuhan with Tokyo on August 27, the airline said on Wednesday.武汉即将开通第一条国际直飞航线——国航于周三发布消息称，连接华中地区工业中心的武汉至日本东京的直飞航线将于8月27日开通。题目中的direct int'l air route指的就是“直飞国际航线”。Air route或air line是“航线”的意思，flight是“航班”的意思，所以直飞航班我们就可以表达为non-stop flight或direct flight。直飞航线省掉了transfer to flight（转机）的麻烦，大大节省了时间。现在坐飞机旅行已经越来越普遍了。很多城市之间都有regular flight（定期航班）、round-trip flight（往返航班）。而我们去接利比亚的同胞时用的是charter flight（包机）。飞机平稳飞行我们可以说smooth flight，而bumpy flight（一路颠簸的飞行）难免让人airsick（晕机）。
