The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks.
“番茄工作法”是上世纪80年代末由弗朗西斯科·西里洛创立的一种时间管理方法。使用番茄工作法,就是用一个计时器把工作分为时间长度为25分钟的多个时段,每个时段之间作短暂休息。
These intervals are known as "pomodori", the plural of the Italian word pomodoro for "tomato". The method is based on the idea that frequent breaks can improve mental agility.
