Phubbing refers to ignore (a person or one's surroundings) when in a social situation by busying oneself with a phone or other mobile device. 

“低头族”描述的是只顾自己玩手机或者其他移动设备，忽略周围的人和环境的社交行为。

Phub是 phone和snub（冷落）的合成词，stop phubbing就是说要放下手机和对方交流。

在社交场合中，只顾低头玩手机，怠慢他人的人就被称为 phubber。
