天气晴朗时在伦敦该做的七件事
7 Things to Do in London When the Sun Shines
1. Buy something you never knew you needed
Whether it's antiques, food or vintage clothes you'll find it at one of London's markets.
Most markets are open over the weekend, but some such as Broadway Market are home to shop, cafes and restaurants during the week - enjoy a walk here along the canal from Angel.
2. Picnic in the park
No matter where you are in London, there's likely to be a park nearby.
In amongst all the skyscrapers you'll find some smaller gardens hidden away, or head to larger parks, such as Hampstead Heath or Regents Park (which is also home to London Zoo).
3. Watch a play at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre
Originally built by Shakespeare's playing company, the 'Lord Chamberlain's Men', this reconstruction of the original Globe Theatre holds productions of Shakespeare's plays during the summer.
Choose standing tickets to get close to the action, but be warned the theatre is open to the weather.
4. Swim outdoors
No, not in the River Thames. Although, if you do like open water swimming, head over to Hampstead Heath ponds.
But, if you prefer swimming pools, there are numerous outdoor pools to choose from.
5. Stretch your legs along the Thames path
At 180 miles long the path stretches from Gloucestershire to South East London, running along the bank of the River Thames.
Split into 4 sections, you can find a walk to suit you - and if you manage to do the whole 180 miles, make sure you download a certificate!
6. Cruise down the river
See some of London's iconic sites on a river cruise - take a seat on the top of the boat for the best view.
7. Finish the day by watching a film under the stars
London boasts many open air cinemas, so there's something for everyone, from opera outside the Royal Opera House, to British Films at Somerset House - the choice is yours.
