　这是日本电影"新里见八犬传"的主题曲，主要演员都是当时日本的最红的明星，包括玉女偶像药师丸，性格小生真田广之以及千叶真一等。电影本身是一部改编自日本民间传说的神怪片，却请来外国人写作及演唱英文的主题曲，在当时可谓一大创举，以至于90年代的日本偶像剧经常选用西洋艺人的作品作为主题曲，也就稀松平常、见怪不怪。然经过时间的淬炼，人们对"新里见八犬传"这部电影已经不复记忆，这首抒情悦耳的主题曲却流传久远.
