World No.5 shuttler Chen Hong was blocked by arch rival Indonesia's Hidayat Taufik though, he has still earned as high as US$ 4000 at yesterday's Badminton Asian Championships 2007.

Chen Hong has kept in good in form since quitting the national team over two months ago. Entirely in the disadvantage position during the finals, he has been knocked down by Taufik, with 21-18 and 21-19.

Three-times Asian Champs titles Taufik gives high remarks on his strong rival, "I have heard of that Chen left the national team, but he remains strong while back to action that constitutes a big threat towards me."
